Privacy policy
This site is a set of static pages. Personal data reaches AIPIA in two ways: through the anonymous visit counts described below, and when you write to us.

Legal framework
AIPIA is established in Italy, so its processing is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and by the Italian Personal Data Protection Code. This applies to visitors from the United States as well.
What we process
When you visit the site
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver pages and protect the service, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, the page requested, and your browser type. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits: it works without cookies and gives us aggregate figures, such as page views and referring sites, without identifying individual visitors.
The site stores one key in your browser's local storage, aipia-us-consent, to remember that you have seen the cookie notice, and a second one, aipia-us-theme, only if you choose a color theme. Both stay on your device. Details are in the cookie policy.
When you write to us
If you email info@aipia.us or another AIPIA address, we process your name, your address, and what you tell us, in order to answer and, where it follows, to prepare and manage an agreement. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering correspondence (GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
Processors and transfers
Cloudflare, Inc. provides hosting, analytics, and email forwarding for aipia.us, as our processor. Some of its processing may take place in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, as described in Cloudflare's own data processing terms.
Retention
Correspondence is kept for as long as the exchange or the resulting agreement requires, and then for the periods set by Italian law for contractual and accounting records. Aggregate analytics are anonymous by design.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing (GDPR arts 15 to 22). Write to segreteria@aipia.it. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
